![]() As soon as my exhaust arrives I'll report back. Im not a speed freak, just like my truck to run. Once I get my exhaust I will definitely try all the tunes and find what I like best. I don't however think its worth the cost if your not going to go all the way. Overall, if was going to leave the stock exhaust in place this is a great setup. The guys at H&S seem to have their s**t together compared to some of the other canned products I have used on previous trucks. That said Im sure it will load up the DPF sooner but it definitely drives much much better. Power is smooth and comes on sooner which is my biggest complaint with the stock truck. Ok moment of truth, fire it up! Initial drive I can say its a different truck even on mild. Loading the tune was easy but did take some time and was similar to when I would load one on my old LBZ. Then again I was gonna do it as soon as the exhaust arrives right? No pyro installed yet so Im gonna load up the mild tune Ok so now here I am, DPF still intact knowing full well there are two levels I can download to my truck but once you do it its all over. Took it back outside and plugged it in the MiniMaxx and updated the unit. After seeing the screen, I still think its small, but definitely alot happier with the clear screen.īefore doing too much I decided to update the unit to the latest software so I headed inside and followed the instructions on the H&S site and updated the Micro SD card. After it sat on the counter for a while I just had to plug it in and see what it did so I grabbed the MiniMaxx, HDMI cable, OBD plug, and headed to the garage. At first I was honestly a little disappointed. Before purchasing I watched videos, read reviews, and scoured the internet for information and no where did it appear to be the size of a credit card. Now I wasnt planning on taking the plunge this soon (have about 3k miles) but when you have something to install on your truck its really hard to not at least play with it a little.įirst Impression, this thing is TINY. While cleaning out my garage today I had a visit from Fedex and well it wasn't my whole package but it was the MiniMaxx. On Tuesday of this past week I made the decision it was time to void my warranty so I ordered a MiniMaxx and 4" MBRP from Tyler at Myer Performance.
